Hubby and I both loved this movie. It had a very likable cast, including Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Jack Black, and even Eli Wallach. It was a hilarious comedy about mending a broken heart by removing yourself from the situation. We've all had our heart broken and wished we could "get away from it all". Both Kate and Cameron were the typical broken hearted women (on both sides of the ego), Jude played his part very well as always, and Jack held his new role very well. This film is a comfortably predictable story with several main characters and plenty of relationships (and friendships!) to follow. I very much enjoyed Eli's character and his reality check line about "playing the best friend when you should be the leading lady". The phone call had us holding our breath and laughing at the same time. We weren't bored or disappointed throughout the whole movie, and were still discussing it a few days later. This is one we would watch over again, alone or with others.
