Look! I'm a Bard!

Between Hubby and Soichiro, I have been convinced to lvl BRD. Not that it was hard, I think BRD looks like fun. Monday night, Soichiro PLed me for a while. I got to lvl five right before I logged out for bed. I discovered that when I have an instrument equipped, I can have two songs. Great discovery! And I love the way Mini looks while in song. It's so cute.

While out there, we played around with some of the Sunbreeze Festival items. They are fun! We had Summer Fans and Festive Fans, Datechochins, and other Festival items. Here are a few more SSs for you.

On Tuesday night, Selo and I got a lot done. We started with the quest for Wizard's Gloves. Got that quest done, it just needed to be turned in. When I went down there, I grabbed Quake and Burst from the AH. Turned around and ran back to MH so I could meet Selo. As soon as I got to Bibiki Bay, a few things happened. A) I realized I left Burst in my Mog Safe. Why in the world did I even put it in there? B) I didn't talk to the box again to get my hands! I was right there and had the quest finished. Duh. C) FFXI froze. Not my whole computer because I could still pull up web pages and IMing, but no FFXI. So I pulled up the task manager, booted myself, and logged back in.
In Bibiki Bay, we fought the Goblin's Rarabs. Both Selo and I could almost one shot them, but not quite. We even had Quake, Earth Day, and an Terra's Staff. We did pretty well though. 5 k an hour- with a ring but no chains. Yeah, that's awesome. And as long as the gobby didn't see us (which happened a few times) we could rock pretty well. Until some other BLM came out there. Dhiz said he had the whole week off and could catch up to us before Wed, so we got a few lvls before we stopped.
Back at the MH, I took out the rest of my spells I had waiting. I ended up learning Enwater and Burst. And man, I'm looking forward to Fire III. (Speaking of MH, I really need to clean it out. . .)
Also, in great news, I sent my first submission for Pic of the Month. I sent it to GTMC for the Sept contest. Haven't heard anything back yet, but I only submitted it late last night.
Here are a few more SSs, including some with my new gear :)
