My first day of school went well. First class was Math. It had a lot more students in it than I thought it would. Even though the classroom was small, almost every seat was full. There are about twenty students in it. The lady I sat next to was named Sherri, and she was so nice. We talked a little before and after class, and I think we will become friends. She seems like a good person. The work seems like it will be thorough, but fairly simple. My second class was English. The teacher in that class seems so awesome. He wants to be sure to "lay a good foundation" for the next English courses we will take. I already have homework in both classes. lol Gotta love the first day! I wandered around a little and talked to the security officer. Turns out, he knows my Grandma. She's a celebrity there! Everybody knows her! I guess that's the great thing about going to the college your grandma helped to shape. Did you know she WROTE some of the books they use to teach with?! After class I took a few pictures of the front of the college. I love that there are so many trees and so much shade.
Selo came and got me, and we picked up the truck! I have my truck back again! I am very happy to have it back. Besides being SO much better on gas than the Buick (!!!), I missed my little truck. Here are a few shots of the grounds. (I apologize if they aren't up to par, I have a cheap camera.)
