I finally got my class schedule in the mail. Today I am off to school with schedule in hand to do the finances for it. I was rejected for financial aide (not surprised) so I will apply for a payment plan for tuition and books. If I can get a copy of Hubby's check stub, I will apply for a change of status while I am there today, and see if that makes a difference. I have tuition, books for two classes, parking permit, student id, and fees. I'm very blessed that the tuition costs at WCC are so low, but it's still a lot of money for us. (We didn't even have money for groceries last week, how pathetic is that?) I will be picking up my last pay stub from Lowes after lunch, Hubby is working on his, and I already have our tax info ready and waiting. While I'm at school today, I'm going to walk around and find my classes. I am hoping to get a map of the school so I can highlight and number them- they you used to do in junior high so you could find your classes. But then always hide the map so nobody would think you were a nerd. Well, I'm in college now, and I can be as nerdy as I darn well please. I am getting excited about school. I plan on acing everything. I want nothing lower than a 3.5 the whole semester. My classes should be pretty easy, so I'm sure I can do it. And if my classes aren't easy, then I will study more. I want a 3.5 and I will do what it takes to earn that. I wonder if I will have time to talk about my major today? I've decided to major in General Studies, so I need to get that changed.
Wish me luck! I'm off to school!

At the school, I got the forms I needed to change my status on the FAFSA. I have all the paperwork I have to submit with it too. Not sure if it will make a difference, but it's worth a try. I went to the business office, and talked to Jenni about the payment arrangements. Went to the bookstore, got the quotes on all my books, and found the other items I will need (highlighters and a calculator are the only things I don't have so far). When I submit the payment arrangements, I can include the cost of the books in it. (Hmmm What do I do about the one book they don't have yet?) I don't have to get my student ID until school starts, and the parking permit I will get tomorrow when I go back. AND Hubby walked around campus with me and helped me find all my classrooms.
*Side note*
I swear the man has an extra sense. Either that, or I am missing one of mine. I can walk around campus for days or weeks, and not be able to find them. He walks in there, and can walk me to all my classes the first time he is there. What gives?
*End side note*
So! On to paperwork! And forms. And submissions. Man, I'm so excited for school :D

Oh wow! I didn't realize you were working at Lowe's as well. How was your experience?
