My dear friend, Julie, tagged me for the Middle Name Meme a while ago. Well, in bloggers' world, it was quite a while ago. Julie, Honey, I am so sorry I didn't get to this sooner. You are a sweetheart, and I am glad to have you as a friend.
But before I can do the Middle Name Meme, I need to explain a little bit about my name. See, the name I have now, is completely different from the name I was born with. I was adopted when I was eight, and not only did I keep my maiden name and add my new last name when I got married, but I also switched my first and middle name. Anyway, on to the middle name meme, to celebrate my new middle name.
RULES: You have to post these rules before you give the facts. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.
A- Ambitious. When I put my mind to something. I do it. And I don't just do it. I do it all the way, and well.
P- Perfectionist. I struggle with this one. I want everything to be just right. I sometimes get the standard set a little too high, and then I'm kicking myself for not being perfect. I am blessed to have a husband wonderful enough who can gently bring me back to earth when I fall.
R- Religion. I am Christian, and proud of it. Although I probably shouldn't be so proud. lol Anyway, God and Jesus are the single-most important aspect of my life. And although I don't always make them proud of me, I am doing my best. And I know I am loved even when I'm not perfect.
I- Ice cream. I love ice cream. And I do mean ICE cream. Put it in the very back corner of the freezer, cut it with a knife, put it on a plate, eat it with a fork type ICE cream. No soft stuff for me. I love to sit down at night before bed, eat my little slice of ice cream, and then snuggle with Hubby or in a blanket to get warm again. Aaaaahhhhhh the luxuries of life.
L- Love. I am now able to say, I love Love. I went through several really ugly relationships in my time. Especially the one right before my husband. Thankfully, Hubby helped me see I deserved a loving, caring, non-abusive, law-abiding relationship that I wasn't terrified to go home to. Shortly after we got together. Two years later, he planned our wedding. (I wanted run away and get married. He wanted a real wedding! So he planned it, and I loved it.) Now we have been married six months, and I am so grateful to him and for him. I am blessed to have the best husband in the world for me.
Now, I am supposed to tag some people for this, but since I just tagged several for another recent meme, I am simply going to open this one up for anyone that wants to do it. Feel free to just take it to your own blog. And again, thank you Julie, for tagging me for this one.
