This lovely little picture is of my eyes. Notice anything. . . um. . . disgusting about them? I bet you are glad you are on the other end of the internet right now and not sitting next to me. Honestly though, I don't know what is wrong- yet. It is midnight, and I was just washing my face for bed like I do every night. Only tonight, I noticed something weird about my eye. So what do I do? I pull my eye lid down and gently swipe it to remove any debris. Only this time, the eyeball itself moves- in a very NOT normal way. After calming my stomach (an eye shouldn't DO that) I ran from the bathroom and into my husband's arms. It has been producing a little more "sticky stuff" then usual. You know, the stuff your eye produces while you sleep. This stuff. I didn't think anything of it, because I have bad eyes anyway, so it wasn't anything new. Normally it clears up in a few days, and nothing is wrong. I can usually feel when I am getting a case of Pink Eye pretty quick, because I have had it so much (remember I said I have bad eyes), and this is nothing like it. So after years of being told I will be completely blind (yes, my eyes are that bad. and yes, it really scares me), my eye looks like it is falling. . . no that's not right, peeling apart. Thankfully, Hubby has me calmed down, and I will be making a few calls tomorrow. I want to call the eye doctor to see if he can see me, or if I need to see a specialist right away. Needless to say, I am more than a little concerned. This scares me.
So now that I have shared my gross-ness, I am going to bed. I can already feel the nightmares coming on.

Morning update: The swelling has gone down and some of the redness has gone away. But it is still swollen, red, and just not normal. I'm going to school (without wearing makeup or touching it), and I'll call the Eye Doc when I get home. Let's hope nothing comes of it, and I am paranoid for no reason.

It might be a bug bite. I remember when I was little a mosquito bit me right in the corner of my eye. It swelled up pretty bad the next day. Keep us posted, ok?
Oh bad! Keep us posted
Yikes, I just surfed in from your MyBlogLog page and read this girl I hope you get some relief soon.
Thanks ladies. I am feeling better. Although I will be keeping a close watch on it. lol
i think its a sty you should see a docter
Thanks Jackie. It ended up healing itself, after careful watching and caring for it. Thankfully, I have never had a sty and hope I never do. But with my eyes being as bad as they are, I am always being careful with them.
