Smorty's rules- and baby stuff :)

When I first considered the whole "get paid for blogging" world, Smorty was the first one I heard about (Thanks Jade!). I had Smorty bookmarked before any others, and I checked it out first. Smorty helps bloggers get paid for blogging and gives them more leniency than most other companies. Some companies require a strict post with a ridicules amount of words, several links, and XXX amount of pictures. With the freedom Smorty gives, I can blog for money and still keep the integrity of my blog. I don't have to write 300 words about something I have no idea about and have to compete for the opportunity. AND I get paid more than $5 a post. Every little bit helps, right?
Hubby and I have decided that any money I earn blogging will stay in the PayPal account. It's extra money that we haven't considered, so it won't feel like we are missing it by not spending it. I know I won't be doing paid blogging enough to pay any bills with (like I said, I don't want to compromise my blog), but it will be nice to have when we go out for a date or on vacation.
Speaking of vacation, Friday is coming quickly. I love flying, but I am getting a wee bit nervous about finding my connection in Detroit. I will have an hour and a half to find it. But if I remember right, the Detroit airport is huge. Which doesn't help someone with NO sense of direction. I can hear you laughing, but just wait. I will write about how I got lost in the airport in Detroit. I'm already scared about it.
Hopefully though, we won't have to worry about lost luggage. We are going to both be taking our backpacks, and we will share a suitcase. So one of us will take it as a carry-on, and not worry about baggage claim. Hopefully anyway.
Well, I'm off to take a quick nap. And then I am going to call my little sister and talk to her about tomorrow. She's having her baby tomorrow! Soon, I will be saying hello to my first nephew. Yay for babies!
