Remember how I was thinking about Maple Story? Well, I DLed it, and have been looking into it. I sent my sister a bunch of questions about it, and she sent back her answers. And I have officially ruled it out. At least, if I understand what she is explaining to me.
You have to buy WITH REAL MONEY the money you want to spend in game.
Are you kidding me? And people actually DO this?
That is ridicules to me. Can you imagine how much money is wasted doing that? I feel bad for anyone that plays that game, especially anyone that has actually spent money to buy in game money. Instead of having a game, it is just another financial contest. Who can blow the most money?
What a disappointment. I'm just glad I found out before I got involved.
