We Should Get a Frequent Visitors Pass

. . . or something! I swear, my husband spends more time in the doctor's office and hospital than anybody else I've ever met.

He had his follow-up today at his PCP. We actually had a good appointment, considering we got all FOUR issues we needed to discuss taken care of. The doctor checked his ribs, back and neck. He listened to Selo's lungs. He checked the huge yellow bruise on Selo's arm where the IV was a week ago. And he gave Selo a referral to a chiropractor to have his back and necked fixed.

Selo and I talked to the doctor about the GI specialist. The doctor made the call- but it didn't make a difference. Apparently, the GI is so booked (clear out to the end of March now) that they aren't even letting other doctors call for special appts. I guess we'll be keeping the one we've got.

The doctor checked the mass on the back of Selo's neck. He said it was either a lymph node or a cyst. Either way, it wouldn't hurt to have it looked out and possibly removed. So he gave a referral to an ears-mouth-and-throat specialist.

In total, that is four specialist appts: neurologist, EMT specialist, GI specialist, and a chiropractor. Thank HEAVENS we have medical insurance!
