Five years ago today was the day Elizabeth Smart was returned to her family. It happened right here in Utah, and I am pleased to hear how wonderful she is doing now.

Wow! That was a blast from the past! I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the news broke she was returned. The kicker?? I gave her kidnapper money the year before as I walked outside to get lunch. I used to work downtown for the Church insurance company. I was shocked to find out he was the kidnapper. THEN my boyfriend's law firm represented the kidnappers. CRAZY!!!
