Today, my MIL got married. The wedding and reception turned out better than we expected. (Thanks to Kris, you are amazing, Lady!) It was long though. Lucky for me, I planned ahead. I put together a picnic of foods to take, that would carry both Selo and me throughout the day and evening. I had peanut butter sandwiches, two mini jars of jam, honey fruit, cookies, fruit rollups, fruit bars, pop-tarts, chips and salsa, napkins, and plastic knives. Between the wedding ceremony and getting ready for the reception, we were able to have ourselves a little picnic. Plus, I was able to supply two other people with some yummy food, too. Being prepared really paid off.
