I'm getting married! Yes, it's true. I am slowly telling people about it. It's not a secret by any means, but I want to talk about it with everyone I tell. So I am slowly leaking out the info. This way, I have time to talk to people! I hate the idea of just announcing and then expecting everyone else to contact me about it. Selo and I are working very hard. We will be making a formal announcement about it at a later date. For now, let me just say, I can't wait to be his wife.
I want to remind everyone to keep wearing red on Fridays. Every day I hear news of friends that have been sent out. I want all the soldiers out there to know I am grateful for their willingness to fight and protect me and my family. Thank you. I will forever be grateful to you.
Hehehe I cleaned my room today. I remember when I was a kid how much I hated hearing my parents tell me to clean my room. (Remember that Rebeka?) But I tell you this, my room looks awesome now.
I have been working my butt off to clean up my credit and get my score up. Although it's easier than I thought, there are some sneaky companies out there. I suggest that if you haven't checked your credit for a while, you should. I just had four things removed from my credit. That means there is only one slightly negative mark on my credit. And all it took was a few phone calls. After I get my credit cleaned up, Selo and I are going to get his cleaned up. By the end of this year, I will have a great score. And by the end of next year, Selo will too! Being rich can't by happiness, but having good credit makes it possible for us to create a better future.
Speaking of Selo, my sweetheart is gone. *sad* He left this morning to drive to Utah with my Grandma and Grandpa Davis. He will be visiting his family and informing them of our upcoming wedding. He will be deciding which reception hall we will be using for our Utah reception (we are having two receptions). He will be picking up a vehicle my grandparents are loaning us. He will be finishing some business we need to attend to, and then he will drive back. We are hoping his mom will come with him (she is hoping to get the time off work) and she will stay out here for a while. Unfortunately we have no idea when he will be back. Depending on how long this business takes him, he may still be in Utah until after Thanksgiving. I miss him already.
