*deep breath* Okay, now that I am feeling better...
Well in other news, my life is going VERY well right now. I –still- love my job. Today I received another compliment. This means a customer called in to Corp to specifically give my supervisor a compliment about me. *Smile* I am on the border of purchasing my new truck. I have found two that I like. Both are what I am looking for and they are both within what I wanted to pay. I have been helping some of my friends re-do their MySpace pages. This is cheesy, yes. But I am glad to have their confidence in my abilities. Selo and I are doing great. We have almost (ALMOST) narrowed down exactly what day we want to be married. He says he already has the place picked out, and we are playing around with some details. My hair growing like crazy. I have been wanting my hair long for a while, and it's finally happening. It looks great curly, straight, down, up, and anything else you can think of. Somewhat vain, yes, but I am happy about it all the same. I am getting closer to some old friends. People like Crystal and Elise and some others from high school. I have found out that a lot of people I used to work with are also people that went to the same high school I did. And thank you Elise, for everything. You are great. I have been reading a lot of books lately. I just finished a book from the Oprah Book Club called Midwives. I tell ya, the first two chapters of that book are nothing like the rest of it. But what an excellent book! I very much enjoyed it. I have already started my Christmas shopping. Can I say how much I love catalog shopping? Look through a magazine, think about it, place an order, and it's delivered right to my home. Besides the fact that it's so much fun to get good stuff in the mail, I love the simplicity of it! Speaking of sales, I am actually going to go to the after Thanksgiving sales with my step-mom. She says because it is such a small area, you can actually get what you want. AND you can even visit two or three stores and still get what you want. This is a new one to me, so I am going to go with her and see this miraculous chain of events myself. I love watching Selo with my little brother and sister. They are twelve and look up to him so much. He is the big brother they have always wanted. I think it helps him to. Takes away some of the heartache of missing his girls. I still have not been approved for Katie and Natalie's picture website. I emailed my friend Misti to make sure I was logging in correctly, but she hasn't responded. So I created a new email address (complete with a Live Spaces!) for Selo and I to view the website. Lizz PROMISED that she would accept EVERYONE, she just wants to know who's looking. I completely understand this one. So I am going to try applying again and see what happens. Hopefully she will fulfill her word and approve me. I have hope that she will. I have been doing some "pre-work" getting ready for my court case. I have been gathering papers and receipts and forms. I have a meeting with my lawyer in less than a month and I already have a strong case in my favor. At this rate, I know I could win the case on my own, but since I am interested in not only my own case but learning about others as well, I am going to consult with a lawyer and work with them. I really look forward to it. Another thing I am looking forward to is school. I have finally decided that I DO want to go back, and I may have even narrowed down what I want to study. I have been interested in finances and money and such, so I think I will take some finance classes. Some business, some statistics, some stocks, ect. I love Sudoku puzzles. I have been tearing through a book of them. What a great way to exercise my brain! In scarier news, there is a chemical fire here in NC. They have evacuated part of the city and are working on getting it under control. Although it is about three hours from where I live, it is directly affecting me. It's affecting my co-workers at Lowe's and affecting my fellow NC citizens. If you wan to read about it, here's a link. On another brighter note, I am going to the Apple Festival tomorrow! I love festivals and carnivals and the like. And this one is about mmmmm... apples! I can't wait!
Well I have talked your ear off, so I think I will go do something productive. Great big hugs all around!
