Never ending cycle of life

It gets better every day. At least, that is the positive outlook I am working toward. I had a few bad days this week, but thank goodness, today wasn't one of them. I went to a baby shower for Desiree at one, and it was fun. Tons of food. I will have pics DLed in a few. Then I came home and got some housecleaning done. I can never get any work done when Hubby is home, because he wants to play, and wants me to play with him. He wants to game, watch movies, whatever. BUT he was out when I got home. He is returning his crappy not-as-great-as-they-promised TV, and he is going to buy a different one. Bigger or smaller doesn't matter, but it is going to have the features and outputs he wants. We agreed he could spend up to the same amount he received back, but no more. So he is shopping- and I am cleaning. I cleaned the bedroom, then the living room. We are going to re-arrange the living room when he gets home (before the new TV comes out of the package), and get it the way we wanted in the first place. I even got to vacuum. lol The poor kittens were traumatized.
Talked to a friend last night. I am happy to still *have* her as a friend. There was a drama queen out there trying to cause problems. Luckily for me, this friend of mine and I worked out what was going on. And once again, I was told she had been told something completely different about me. This isn't the first time- or the first person- this drama queen has spread gossip about me to. And every time someone comes to me and talks to me about it, I always hear "that's not what I was told". Now, I don't know what that says about what she is telling them, but I am lucky to be friends with people that are smart enough to come to me when they hear rumors about me. I am very blessed in fact, to have the wonderful friends that I do.
I also talked to my sister today. Well two of my sisters, but one that I don't get to talk to very often. Man, I miss her. We have been close ever since we got older (and I don't mean teen-age years, I mean 21+), and she has been one of my favorite people to talk to. You know how you have certain friends that are great friends but they don't really hold a conversation very well? Well she isn't like that. She is awesome to talk to. I love it that I can be so close to my sister.
I have been so addicted to blogs lately. I *love* to read them. I like life blogs, political blogs, graphic blogs, any kind of blog. I have recently been added to the 2K Bloggers. They have a community of ONLY 2000 bloggers. They have created a community for bloggers of bloggers. I think it's great, and I am honored to have been added to it.
I have put my website, HTML, and digiscrapping completely on hold- for the time being. I am more concerned with getting the rest of these boxes unpacked, getting on a schedule and routine, and learning to be a good housewife. I have been kind crazy sitting at home all day, I don't know what to do with myself! So once I get a handle on my new life, I will pick it up again. (I am going to finish DLing the packets I have already been sent, and I am staying in one digiscrap group- Bobbie- just so I don't lose my resources for when I want to pick it up again.)
Okay, I'm off to get these photos online. Feel free to check on the album :) I am such a sucker for pictures. I need to limit myself to one camera full per week lol
