Selo and I had a date night tonight. It was time to do another review, and this time it was a restaurant. We went to Chili's. Neither one of us had been there since before we even started dating, so we were looking forward to the opportunity.
For a starter, we had the Boneless Buffalo Wings. They were so good. It was sweet and tangy, but not over-poweringly spicy. I might just get those as my meal next time, because they were so tasty.
On to the main dish, we both decided on a version of Kickin' Chicken. Selo had the Cajun Chicken Pasta and I had the Margarita Grilled Chicken. Selo wasn't too impressed with his. He said the sauce was a little funny on it. Just not to his liking. I enjoyed mine a lot. The beans and rice were really yummy. The chicken was tender and juicy.
And we finished with a fabulous desert. Well I did, because Selo wasn't really interested. I had the White Chocolate Molten Cake. It was heaven. Truly. I have never had a desert that was so delicious. I had to sit back and just let it melt in my mouth. It was warm and gooey and tasty and, just plain so good. *I* was in heaven.
(I took this picture with my phone. It even looks just like its' advertised picture!)
The restaurant itself was pleasant to be in. The music was at just the right level and was fun to listen to. The decor of it was entertaining and enjoyable. The lighting was a little too bright, but nothing that distracted us. Our waiter was attentive and nice, and always on the ball. He gave us good recommendations and follow-ed through with bringing anything we asked for.
So there you have it. If you are looking for a great place to eat, I highly recommend Chilis. We will definitely be going back.
