Merry Christmas, Mr BMW owner

Ever since Selo got his new job, we have been looking for another car. He works some major hours (as in 6-6, at least 5 days per week, sometimes 7 days per week), and since the drive- until we move- is an hour and a half each way, we've had to come up with some creative ways to get us both to work. We were making it work, because that's what you do to when you have a job. But we both agreed it was getting old and we looked forward to having a second vehicle.

Well, he got it. And not just any vehicle, one that he has dreamed about owning for years. He has talked about this car since before he and I even knew each other.

Here is his newest baby- A BMW 325i

The car is in perfect condition, and will be around for several years. It's even in his favorite color! We are not only grateful to have another vehicle, but it's a vehicle that Selo loves to drives and he grins every time he thinks about it (as you can see from his picture lol). We were so glad to be able to purchase a car that he not just drives, but loves to drive.

And, to make things even better, he had another dream come true with this car. We payed for it in cash. Yes, that's right in cash. No loan, no car payment. We saved and saved, and worked our butts off to get the money for him. He has always wanted to be able to pay for a car in cash, and he can now say that he has.

(Does this post sound like I'm bragging? Well, yes, I am. You bet I am. This is totally brag-worthy!)

He is happy as a clam right now. He says that between the cruise, the BMW, and paying for it in cash, he's had more dreams come true in the last year than he has in the last ten years. I love seeing his eyes light up and seeing him smile so much when he finds out that goals he was told he would never achieve or he thought were beyond his reach are happening for him. I love seeing him so happy, and feel the sense of accomplishment that comes from hard work.

This has been the beginning of a wonderful holiday season. I am excited for Christmas this year. And we are both looking forward to the happiness the coming year will bring for us.
