The Peppermint Place

Ever heard of it? It's wonderful. I'm not big into Christmas, but this places tops them all. My sister, Kristine, picked me up this morning, and we- with Aubrey- went to The Peppermint Place. We walked around the whole store, talking and laughing. Man I miss seeing her all the time. I have a connection with her that I don't have with any of my other sisters. Then again, I have a connection with each of them that I don't have with the others. Anyway, I'm off topic. We went. We had a great time. I bought Daddy some chocolate covered gummy bears for Christmas, and I bought Selo a couple of cherry flavored candy sticks. He loves them. *sigh* Tis the season already.

BTW, is you are looking to move to New York (which I am not, thank heavens) check out movers New York. Enjoy!

Oh My Gosh. I LOVE the Peppermint Place. I probably haven't been there for three or four years, but it is so fun. CAn you still go upstairs and watch them make the candy?

The Peppermint Place reminds me of Christmas as a little girl. Spirit, magic, the works. I love it.

Sadly, no, you can't watch them make candy anymore. You can't even go upstairs- they changed buildings. I heard that they sent the 'candy making' part to somewhere else, and now they just sell the candy, goodies, and crafts there.

The new building is very cute. Even though it was sad to learn they had moved, they did a good job with the new building. If you come out here for Christmas, we can take a trip down there.
